Welcome to WolvCTF!

Rules:

  1. Be respectful - regardless of skill level or any other factor. We will not tolerate derogatory and discriminatory language or behavior of any kind.

  2. All players need to form a team to participate in the competition. Each team can have unlimited players while each player can only join ONE team.

  3. Do not attack any of the infrastructure. This includes *.umich.edu, *.wolvsec.org, *.wolvctf.io, resources on Google Cloud, and any external communication channels or other platforms associated with the WolvCTF. Only attack specifically designated targets in each challenge.

  4. Use of automated tools like dirbuster or sqlmap are not allowed (and will not help anyway).

  5. Only collaborate with the people on your team. Do not share flags or methodology outside of your team until the end of competition.

  6. Do not DM WolvCTF organizers/authors for hints or advice on solving challenges. Any hints will be given out via announcements to all teams at the same time. However, if you think a challenge is broken or have other questions, please use the #make-ticket channel on our discord. Hints for beginner challenges will only be answered publicly in the #beginner channel.

  7. Failure to adhere to the rules can result in disqualification in this event.

  8. Should players discover any unexpected vulnerabilities of our platform, please tell us. Once confirmed, the player’s team will be awarded additional points depending on its level of severity.

  9. Ask the organizers about anything else!
